Suddenly, your whole view of art is about to change, because the work of ellamental engages, it stimulates and it teases the senses. It fits into no known category. It goes beyond abstract in its ability to draw on, at times, common objects and simple colour to create a landscape that defies definition.
There’s nothing ’samey’ about this piece, despite its title. There is here a golden teasing of brilliance, of colour, of form and of shape. This is the sort of image you could hang upon your wall and stare at for years – never quite able to drink in it’s complexities, drawn ever more to it’s vibrance.
Burning with a tantalizing complexity, we look at this wonderful piece, we try to control it, to analyse it – as if to force it into some simplistic logical flow. Yet it is too complex, too alive, too vibrant to allow this. It cannot be boxed, nor explained, nor broken down. It is light allowed to be itself revealing its own nature drawn from the chaos of creation.
