No, not Lara Croft, Lara a small town just outside Geelong, Victoria in Australia.
Like many small towns, the locals get used to seeing the place and pretty soon the brain filters out the beauty. Alas, that we can overlook the most wonderful of views, hear the most tuneful of birdsong and smell the blossums of a garden so sweet as to rival the very Eden itself, yet after a few months the brain filters it all out.
But then, the Lightsmith enters the picture.
The images captured by the Lightsmith evoke long forgotten moods of love, of mystery and of delight. Through the use of infrared and other techniques, he carves a channel into our very soul to deliver the ordinary in it’s original, untarnished uniqueness.
The following four images are available under a strict release. Each print is 542x407mm, beautifully framed, individually numbered and available for purchase (A$405) – but only five of each image will be produced. This is not your mass-media stuff, nor something that you might see in ninety-nine other homes. These limited release prints are an investment in your own life – a piece of reality we can rarely touch, presented for a select few.
